Vashon Emergency Operations

VashonEOC.org is a tool to aid coordination all Vashon emergency services during times of crisis, as decided by the island's Fire Chief, our Emergency Manager.

Vashon EOC

This is a private intranet site for all the dozen or so Vashon disaster preparedness groups, as organized by VashonBePrepared, the island's Citizen Corps Council. The Vashon Emergency Operations Center (EOC) serves as the coordinating hub, run by Vashon Island Fire & Rescue (VIFR) during a significant incident.

Vashon disaster preparedness volunteers, VIFR and King County personnel must register & sign in to access other site features!

For current incident information, see the Disaster Resource links to the right. (Click headings to expand the sections.) Scroll down for a compilation of RSS feeds.

For Disaster Preparedness information see VashonBePrepared's or King County's site.

King County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) works with Washington State's Emergency Management Division (EMD) and they with FEMA.
